On the 14th of October, 2021(Thursday) on the auspicious occasion of Navami, the Leo Club of Kathmandu Kohinoor jointly with OCCED Nepal organized a “Walk to Basantapur” program for the children living at OCCED. The program was organized with the goal of providing recreation and ensure mental/ physical well being of the children.
The walk program began from OCCED Nepal and went from Kalopul to Bhagawati Bahal to Jamal to Basantapur. The children also visited the Taleju Bhawani temple during the program after which were provided with some kulfi to refresh themselves. This was followed by a trip to Basantapur area where the children had their snacks and then returned back to OCCED.
The program was headed by Ms. Anusha Manandhar and Ms. Laxmi of OCCED Nepal and by club president Leo Abhinav Joshi, joint secretary Leo Pranaya Pradhan, tail twister Leo Yajana Subedi and member Leo Abhishek Joshi along with a volunteer Ms. Stuti Karki on behalf of the Leo Club of Kathmandu Kohinoor.
